Eastern Kentucky Asset Building Coalition

Community Ministries, under the direction of Jennifer Weeber, has spearheaded this coalition to provide free tax preparation and asset building opportunities to Eastern Kentuckians for six years.

The three goals of EKABC are to (1) provide outreach around the Earned Income Tax Credit; (2) provide free tax preparation services to low-income families; and (3) connect the persons who receive tax preparation services to financial literacy and asset building opportunities including Individual Development Accounts and home ownership.
