Corner Haven Crisis Center Located in downtown Hazard, Corner Haven Crisis Center provides crisis assistance to people in need. Corner Haven is open 24 hours/day, seven days/week. Emergency & Transitional Shelter Corner Haven has 16 beds of emergency and transitional shelter for men and women. These beds provide a temporary place for people to stay while they are working on plans for the future. Residents eat three meals a day and participate in the life of the shelter by planning meals, cooking meals, cleaning the center and doing other activities that can help them to develop life skills necessary for living independently. Residents are linked to a Case Manager who can help them set and reach their goals such as education, employment and permanent housing. Residents who are engaged in case management can stay up to 24 months.
